More talking, talking, talking. More annoying bureaucracy and busywork.
But, in between the lectures, I’m gleaned more info about Kurdistan:
1) There’s a waterfall in the north called Aḥmedawa. Also, this is Beikhal waterfall:

Now how is this not the coolest waterfall you’ve ever seen?!?!
2) There’s a mountain called Guajza north of Sulay where people can ski in the winter.
As an aside, I’ve also decided I’m going to be a teacher like Ms. Frizzle. Enthusiastic, encouraging, treating kids as capable little humans.
TAKE RISKS! MAKE MISTAKES! GET MESSY!
(BUT CLEAN THE CLASSROOM UP AFTER YOURSELF!)
I’m looking forward to reading this as a book the second time around! Wonderful!
Rock on Ms Frizzle…my favorite teacher in the world!
